The invasive Emerald Ash Borer is spreading within the Ozark region, threatening the survival of our ash trees. Here we share a variety of ways we identify the signs of borer infestation on our rural Missouri property, discuss management options for dead and dying trees, and consider broader questions raised by the potential loss of an entire tree species across the region.
