There are a lot of Buses to Kukke Subramanya from Bangalore. Initiall,y we planned to travel by night bus to reach Kukke Subramanya fresh up have breakfast, and start the Trek.
We found out there is a train to Kukke Subramanya in the Morning, we planned 3 months ago and the tickets were booked and did small treks around Bangalore to prepare ourselves for Kumara parvatha Trek
There are a lot of Hotels in Kukke Subramanya. Forest office, Kumara parvatha base point is 1.5kms away from the Temple and Auto fare is Rs. 40/- to reach there.
In Bhattara mane you get food and they charge Rs. 150/- they also provide tent and charge Rs. 200/- per person.
Tents are available in the Forest office also on top. Permit charges costs Rs. 425/- per person
The place there gets very dark soon, we suggest carrying torch compulsorily and carry spare batteries
The trial is in very humid conditions, carry 2 litres of water, energy bars, electral, glucose, and dry fruits
