Fans of the channel will know that Studio Ghibli's (and particularly Hayao Miyazaki's) worldbuilding is one of my main study subjects.

Princess Mononoke's premise changes how this story is presented — it invites the main character, prince Ashitaka, to explore the world in a way that favors kindness and listening rather than fighting and avenging.

It's an element that changes the whole story and it's well worth our attention. Let's give it a look!
