Who says you’re ever too old for pony camp? Just like summers of the past, we’re heading off for a training camp with the horses, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you all! So welcome to the first of my pony camp videos!

We're kicking things off with none other than Simon Grieve (Simey if you're a friend of the channel), a well-known figure on my channel and an international five-star rider. Simon has completed at prestigious events like Blenheim, Badminton, and Burghley, showcasing his incredible talent and experience. Not only is he an amazing rider, but he’s also absolutely hilarious, making every session with him an entertaining experience.

In this video, Simon rides my horse Wilma for the very first time. It’s quite special because Simon was actually there when I purchased Wilma in Ireland back in November, but he never got to rider her, so this is a rather momentous occasion.

I wanted Simon to ride Wilma to get a firsthand idea of the little issues I’ve been facing with her. I'm not the best at explaining things, so having Simon in the saddle was incredibly insightful. He handled her slightly spooky way of going with such ease, turning it into a great learning experience for me.

Of course, no video with Simon would be complete without some hilarious moments along the way. To top it all off, we end the video with a mini “Chase Me Charlie” challenge, seeing how high Wilma can jump! It’s a thrilling part of the video that you definitely won’t want to miss.
