I purchased one of these VEVOR fans to clear paint fumes when I am painting cars or car parts because it was rated as explosion proof. Recently I had a question fro someone who commented that their fan came with a warning in the owners manual that it should not be used in hazardous atmospheres due to possibility of sparks. This caused me to reexamine my fan to see if it was truly rated explosion proof. I found that my fan has an ATEX European rating to be explosion proof; but I also found that there are similar fans available on the market that look very similar and are rated NOT explosion proof. In this video, I show how my fan is labelled and what it means.
