The 1st time I ever played background piano music at Simon's Restaurant (@ Homestead Resort in Midway, UT) was for 6 hours during their 2016 Thanksgiving buffet. ♪♪ So I LOVED coming full circle & providing the musical entertainment for Thanksgiving once again at Homestead last Thursday from 11-5! :D
The very last song I played on Thanksgiving @ 5 pm was the contagiously joyful "Through Heaven's Eyes" (sung by Brian Stokes Mitchell in "The Prince of Egypt")...thx to my dear waiter friend, Joshua Burke, for filming this video! ^_^ And I loved the free Thanksgiving meal that I had at Homestead right afterwards (but it wasn't nearly as delicious as my mom's homemade Thanksgiving feast the next day...hahaha)! ;)
This video is dedicated to all my wonderful Homestead Resort staff friends who were there on Thanksgiving: Joshua Burke, Christopher Moreno, Jessica Rodriguez, Madison Leatham, Sailly Sotelo, Terra Budd, Kevin Edwards, Elizabeth Montgomery, Jose Silva, Nate Heftel, Alvaro Payan, etc.
I first fell in love w/ this song when I saw Brian Stokes Mitchell perform it LIVE @ the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's 2008 Christmas concert!: • Video
