This is my gameplay of the last day of the Wii U before the official servers shut down. This was recorded using my new capture card. Sorry about the audio getting doubled, mute it if it's too annoying. I hope I've fixed that for the future. I put over 1,000 hours into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but I did play the Wii U version back when it was new, though not nearly as much as Deluxe. it was very interesting going back to the Wii U meta with Morton and firehopping. I didn't get into Time Trials and firehopping back then so I'm new to that, but other than that my track knowledge and item play from the Deluxe version carried me. Playing with the Gamepad and getting to spy people's items unlike the Deluxe version is interesting too. Though, the RNG of the single item meta is something I won't miss, haha.
