Turkey's insurance broker, IBS, has added one of the industry's experienced names, Ülkem Devrim Aksar, to its senior management team. Aksar has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Special Projects at IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage.

IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage, one of Turkey's leading insurance and reinsurance brokerage companies, continues to strengthen its team. Ülkem Devrim Aksar, who has over 21 years of experience in the insurance industry, has become the new Deputy General Manager of IBS.

Ülkem Devrim Aksar completed his undergraduate and graduate education in the Civil Engineering Department at METU (Middle East Technical University). He started his career in 2003 as the Engineering Insurances Manager at Anadolu Sigorta, where he took part in various important projects for 21 years. Most recently, he worked as the Corporate Technical Coordinator at Anadolu Sigorta. Since 2016, he has been serving as the Chairman of the Engineering Insurances Committee at the Association of the Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Turkey.
