In this video we go over how to make and use chocolate decorations. First we'll melt the chocolate, then make a variety of designs in three different ways, and then choose the best design to garnish our items.

===== RECIPE =====

= Carrot Cake =
- 1 cup (125g/4 oz) self-raising flour
- 1 cup (125g/4 oz) plain flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup (250ml/8 fl oz) oil
- 1 cup (185g/6 oz) soft brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup (175g/5 2/3 oz) golden syrup
- 2 1/2 cups (390g/12 1/2 oz) grated carrot
- 1/2 cup (60g/2 oz) chopped walnuts

Method:
1. Sift the self-raising flour, plain flour, cinnamon, ginger, mixed spice and baking soda together.
2. Whisk the oil, sugar, eggs and golden syrup together.
3. Gradually whisk the liquid into the flours.
4. Then add in the grated carrot and nuts.
5. Stir together, pour into baking tins and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 45 minutes.

Qty cream cheese icing to frost.
