The Qiddiya Water Park, slated to be the world's first upon completion, is a massive undertaking currently under construction in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The price tag? A cool $750 million.

The park will feature 22 rides and attractions, including nine that will be the first of their kind anywhere in the world. The park is also divided into nine different zones, each inspired by the animals native to the Qiddiya area. The zones include the Entry Gate, Camel Rock, Dub Grotto, Wave Wadi, the Den, Viper Canyon, Arabian Peak, the Herding Grounds, and Surf Lagoon. There will also be 17 food and beverage outlets and retail stores within the park.
Sustainability is a major focus for the Qiddiya Water Park. The park's designers are using smart technology to minimize water use, and some of the rides are designed to use 75% less water than conventional water park rides. The park is also being built to minimize its environmental impact.

The Qiddiya Water Park is expected to be a major tourist destination for Saudi Arabia. The park is part of a larger development project that includes a Six Flags theme park, a motorsports complex, and a nature reserve. The project is expected to create thousands of jobs and boost the Saudi economy.
