Exploring the Nyora - Wonthaggi Branch Line! The Bass Coast Rail Trail

Today we head South towards Gippsland and branch off the main line at Nyora Station to head down to Wonthaggi and trace back the railway to the State mine! A railway side by side with the beach and beautiful greenery in the Gippsland, made for one amazing railway!

We explore what’s left of the line, get into some history and head down to the mines to see where the railway meets the busy mines!
