So a few weeks ago, a subscriber messaged me about the AMY AL-Star EMR Stylus and using it on the Remarkable 2. I went back to say I had tried it, but it didn't work well; they came back and told me that the Remarkable 2 nibs work with the stylus and that they were interchangeable. That was a bit of a lightbulb moment, and I tried it, and it worked perfectly. There are a couple of disadvantages to the LAMY vs the Remarkable Marker; the Marker is magnetic for a similar price. The Marker + also has an eraser, although it is double the price for that.

If you don't like the look and feel of the Remarkable pens and you are looking for a quality alternative, then this should be a real consideration if you can live without the magnetic side attachment (which is useful). Please remember you will need the remarkable nibs to make this a high-quality Remarkable experience.
