Jen Babakhan is a former 3rd grade teacher who never intended to be a stay-at-home mom. But shortly after the birth of her firstborn, she sensed God telling her to stay home. Jen felt very conflicted for several years; thrilled to be at home yet also feeling isolated and alone, and even guilty about the financial stress upon her husband. She recounts how God compared her son’s tantrum to her own distrust of His better plan for her life. Jen also addressed the importance of mom friends and community, why moms need something special for themselves outside of motherhood, and how God sees their service to their children as serving Him.
