Whisker Wings 2022
Over 300 cat whiskers (and one dog whisker) made into bird wings. An ironic turn-about for cat whiskers, and a memorial to the mountains of birds killed by domestic cats. All whiskers picked up off the floor after being discarded by their growers.

I wanted to see if I could make a machine that was controlled by gears, but didn't do the same thing every time.

Umbrella Machine No. 2
I saw a broken umbrella in the gutter during a rainstorm, and thought "I could make art with that!" This is the second iteration, an probably the last, but who knows. Made entirely with umbrella parts and stainless steel welding rod.
