I think this project is going to be really interesting! I have been researching Japanese style stitching for some time now. The book I bought is called 'The Book of Boro' by Susan Briscoe and is a very good beginners guide. The rabbit hole I fell down shared with this guy    • "Reflow" No.18 Boro Kimono (Full) / M...   and carried on with many more links - you know how that happens with YouTube! My ideas and thoughts for this garment change all the time and when I post about this agin I think you'll find I have changed my mind on many things!
