In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by nuclear war, the land has turned into a barren desert, and survivors struggle to find clean water and food. Violent groups of marauders roam the wasteland, obeying no laws. Amidst this desolation, a rare green oasis exists, where a young girl named Furiosa and her sister live. Their tranquil life is disrupted when marauders discover their hidden paradise.

Furiosa's sister bravely pursues the marauders to protect their secret, while Furiosa herself gets captured by a marauder named Tow Jam. Despite her efforts to escape, Furiosa is taken to Dementus, the ruthless leader of the marauders. Dementus demands the location of the green oasis, but Furiosa remains silent.

As the story unfolds, Furiosa's sister infiltrates the marauders' camp and rescues her, but not without cost. Furiosa ultimately finds herself facing Dementus and his plans to conquer The Citadel, a place rumored to have abundant resources. She becomes entangled in a battle involving Dementus' horde, the inhabitants of The Citadel, and the relentless struggle for survival.

The film concludes with Furiosa, now equipped with a robotic arm, symbolically dividing the first fruit of a thriving peach tree among the inhabitants of The Citadel, representing hope and new beginnings in a harsh world.
