A bit of a departure for me as it's more of a folk song than Rock & Roll, it's still a great song and it has some special personal meaning to me. If you are a father of a young child I encourage you to listen to the words.

Harry Chapin plays it with the capo on the 8th fret - which gives it that high pitched mandolin type sound. I can't sing that high and prefer to place the capo on the 4th fret.
