After the popularity of our previous travel guide and tips with our “Pittston to Jim Thorpe” video, RBMN decided to showcase the uniqueness of the excursion from Reading Outer Station (ROS) to Jim Thorpe!

In similar fashion, ‪@JamieMakin‬ gives a fantastic overview of the itinerary, the specific cars we utilize for the trips, and tips and tricks you don’t want to miss.

🚨🚨Starting April 6th, ROS will be running passenger trains every weekend and during select holidays. We recommend buying tickets in advance because trips sell out very quickly!

Reading Outer Station train rides feature our beautiful stainless steel and self-propelled Rail-Diesel Coaches (RDCs).

Please note that RDC 9166 is CASH ONLY for snacks and souvenirs. We recommend stopping at the ATM prior to boarding if you wish to take advantage of the services we offer in 9166.
