The gate to Pilchuck Mountain just opened up 1 day ago, so we rushed to get up there before the hoards of people arrive for Father's Day weekend. Surprisingly, there were only 6 of us hanging out at the lookout when we arrived.

There is still plenty of snow up there to ski and snowboard, so if you are looking for some June turns, this is a great place. You'll have to walk 1.4 miles before reaching the snow though.
