While I'm still dealing with fluid in my ears, I decided to modify my studio desk to allow for a front facing MIDI keyboard. I built my own custom desk, so modifying it is reasonably easy. This is probably my fourth mod since building it.

If you have some basic carpentry skills, you can design your own custom desk for your studio. You could use a similar design to mine, or leave off the upper racks. Or only do top mounted racks.

Now my studio is further streamlined and I'm looking forward to my next recording next week.
