‘ASSETS OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY?’


Businessman Tony Yang, the eldest brother of former presidential economic adviser Michael Yang, was questioned again at the Senate, this time for his alleged links to underground foreign influence operations.


“Are you and your brothers assets of the Chinese Communist Party?” asked Senator Risa Hontiveros during a hearing on Tuesday. 


“I do not know if they are members of this group,” answered Yang through an interpreter.
