Tripp Halstead was playing at preschool when a tree limb fell from above and landed on his skull, resulting in severe brain damage. That day his parents locked themselves in a bathroom and agreed to “make it the absolute best life for Tripp as he is now.”

Today Tripp has started to express emotions by smiling and is learning to communicate by blinking his eyes.
