Rick's video from the bridge of the Big Boy steam locomotive, number 4014, arriving in Marshalltown, Iowa, alongside a slow freight was so good that I forgot about my own videos that I took on the ground that day. Here I've spliced three of them together for an overall look at the diesel freight (and the Canadian National unit third in line) and the Big Boy arriving on the other track. Listen for the people on the north side of the tracks to applaud when the freight clears and they finally can see the Big Boy. The whistle is so loud that it knocks out the sound on my video camera for several seconds until you can hear the crowd sounds again.
