I'm raising the funds needed by using a Kickstarter crowd-sourcing project. Bascially you pledge the cost of one DVD, and once we reach the target amount, I hand the cash over to the producers and the film gets made.

Your money only gets collected once the target has been met, so there's no risk of paying for something you won't get.
