The oldest wooden building in Busan. 1300 year old temple

Jangansa Temple, located at the foot of Bulgwangsan Mountain, is a temple built by Wonhyo during the reign of King Munmu of Silla (673) and is 1300 years old.

When you enter the temple after passing through the Four Heavenly Kings Gate, you will be greeted with a more friendly image of a podae sitting with a smile on your face.

Daeungjeon Hall, the oldest wooden building in Busan, and the three-story stone pagoda in front of it are the places where 7 departments of Buddha's relics are enshrined.

Although it is small and compact compared to its long history, it is a historic temple with many cultural assets in its collection.

When thinking of Jangansa Temple in Gijang, Busan, another thing that comes to mind is the valley. In summer, people line up from early in the morning to get a good seat.
I recommend going on weekdays rather than weekends.

The famous mountain lodge restaurant near the valley has delicious pajeon and duck meat, so you can fill your stomach while listening to the sound of the valley water.

Take a walk in the 'Bamboo Forest' behind Jangansa Temple while feeling the unique quietness of the temple.
Soak your feet in the cool valley water and taste delicious food.
