Last time we left the CT175, it had gone the way of Constantinople. A nasty bottom end rattle led us to tear apart the engine and find the ugly truth inside. This engine is in desperate need of a re-hone (potentially an entire new cylinder and piston.)

Well folks, today I attempt to fix the CT175 in a shade tree machining shop. I found this nifty tool called a flex-hone that will allow me to re-hone my cylinder and bring back that nice factory cross-hatching. Will it work? I have no clue! Are we gonna give it our best shot? You betcha.
