While many fans are disappointed with the restored Master Sword's attack power being the same as it was in Breath of The Wild; could the master sword in TOTK actually be better than in the previous game?

To discuss this, we have to examine the weapon from the context of the entire game and compare it to the other weapons we'll find. Unlike Breath of the wild; finding a 30+ Base Attack Power weapon with good durability is very difficult especially early on, making TOTK's 30 Attack Power and 40 Durability Master Sword actually super strong.

This is just the tip of the iceberg however, as the Master Sword can interact with the fuse ability; allowing players to augment with elemental power and higher attack power.

It is also important to note that in fights with ganons and his many forms, the master sword gains the glow of evil's bane, potentially doubling it's damage capabilities in Tears of the Kingdom.
