Kelantan is famous for its Wau or Traditional Kite and diverse cuisines. Stella goes to see Pak Pie in Kota Baru, Kelantan to see how a “wau” is made.

Kelantan is also famous for its “batik” or painted or dyed fabric with floral or graphics patterns. Stella tries her hand at drawing batik with some help.

On her way, she meets a family that is willing to take her in for her stay in Kelantan. Stellas learns how to prepare the Nasi Kerabu, a local delicacy which is a rice dish and plays with the family’s pet monkey.

Stella tries to learn the Kelantanese Dialect as she was fascinated bby the fact that most local ethnic Chinese in Kota Baru is able to speak the dialect fluently.
