If you are a reasonable driving distance to Ithaca, NY (please no very long distance requests, fuel is too precious for potatoes at this point!) and want more information about volunteering with us to harvest potatoes, feel free to email sean @ edibleacres.org and put "Potato Harvest Volunteer" in the subject line. Feel free to add more info in the body of the email, but for now what we will do is collect some email addresses this way and when we are ready to hone in on some specific work party dates we'll follow up with information and probably a link to a form to fill out before you come. This isn't our land and we need to be really organized and thoughtful in how many people show up and how it flows. If any of this feels complex or annoying, we completely understand and hope you can find a nice volunteer opportunity where you are!
