In the heart of Central India, lies a pristine forest – a coffer of biological wealth, with unmatched floral and faunal diversity. Sanjay Tiger Reserve has it all – except, nearly thirty years ago, something had gone missing.
“Gaur: Return of the Giants” is a film about the megaherbivore’s homecoming to Sanjay Tiger Reserve.
Gaur is the custodian of the grasslands and an important link in the ecological chain. In this quest to bring Gaur back to Sanjay TR, a team of passionate officers and scientists will need to brave all adversities to repatriate the top bovid to the home it once left.
