The Indian Peaks Wilderness has been a favorite place of mine to visit. It's a special part of Colorado located West of Boulder in the Rocky Mountain Front Range. I always enjoy the colors combined with the large boulders in the area. There are a lot of wildflowers at this time of year as well as wildlife. Join me on a 5 day, 4 night backpacking trip through this area. The itinerary for this trip is:
Day 0 - Car Camping Near the Trailhead
Day 1 - St Vrain Glaciers and Gibraltar Lake
Day 2 - Buchanan Pass, Summit Sawtooth Mountain, and Camp West of the Continental Divide
Day 3 - Hike to Pawnee Lake
Day 4 - Pawnee Pass and Hike to Coney Lake
Day 5 - Hike back to the Truck
This video covers day 3
