Idlys are literally my comfort food!! But there are days I don't want to eat rice, then these healthy dal idly becomes my saviour. These tastes very close to regular idly.
Recipe
Urad dal - 1 cup
Moong dal - 1 cup
Salt
1. Soak both the dals together for 4-5 hrs. Wash well.
2. Grind this to a smooth batter, add salt. Mix well and ferment overnight.
3. Now make sure your batter is not too thick while fermenting.
4. While preparing the idly, add some water to adjust the consistency and prepare.
5. Let this steam for 12-15 mins
