This episode I show how to convert a Lionel LC+ GP38 from three rail track power to battery (dead rail) operation.

The Baldy & Palms RR has begun a improvement program of converting the locomotive fleet to operate dead rail. This LC+ GP38 Southern Pacific is the second main line locomotive to have the conversion. Other locomotives will soon follow.
