This mode removes most of Miriam's abilities, giving her the same moveset as Simon Belmont from the first Castlevania game, 1986.
ie: fully committal jumps, no air-control.
You access it by inputting the Konami code on the classic Title screen

"Classic mode" is a linear Castlevania game in its own right, but is a re-imagining of CV1 using the world of Bloodstained. I love it, it's a great tribute. It pays homage with some identical sections, usually at the beginning of a stage, before branching out and finding its own voice.
