Looking for tubing near Austin? Look no further! San Marcos has a beautiful river that is a lovely float trip. It is only about 40 minutes south of Austin and is a great day-trip to do during the hot summer months. We rented our tubes from the San Marcos Lion Club, which was easy and super convenient. The cost of the tubes came with a shuttle pass, but we ended up not using that because the line was super long (and it only takes ~15 minutes to walk back). So grab your cooler, your favorite drinks, and book an extra tube to hold them, and enjoy the ride! :)
