From 1955 till 1990, railcar was considered to be the best inter city mode of rail transport. It was composed of one master + one trailer or one master +two trailers or simply one master. The railcars were supplied by Austria, Germany and Japan. Jallo Dabba, Ghazala, Subuk Raftar, Subuk Kharram, Noori and Rehbar were the best services of Pakistan Railways in the mid 1900.
