PSALM 114 STRONG AND POWERFUL PRAYER TO OPEN ALL PATHS THAT ARE CLOSED!

Psalm 114 is a poetic and spiritual gem found in the Old Testament of the Bible. This Psalm, full of powerful metaphors and images, transports us to a crucial moment in the history of the people of Israel, when they were led by Moses on the epic journey of their liberation from Egypt towards the Promised Land. This sacred song, attributed to King David, captures the essence of the faith and devotion of the Jewish people as they witnessed the divine miracles that accompanied their deliverance.

Throughout its brief eight stanzas, Psalm 114 portrays the majesty and power of the God of Israel. They describe how natural elements, such as the sea and the Jordan River, respond to the divine presence. The sea, upon seeing God's chosen people marching toward freedom, withdrew and made way for them, allowing them to cross on dry ground. The Jordan River, upon witnessing the grandeur of this event, also receded, paving the way for the continuation of Israel's journey.

The mountains and hills, which appear immutable to human eyes, are also described as participating in this transcendental moment. They leap like rams and lambs, revealing the vivacity and joy that God's presence inspires in creation.

Thus, Psalm 114 is a powerful expression of faith and gratitude. He invites us to contemplate the miracles that God performed on behalf of His people, to consider His sovereignty over nature and to marvel at His ability to transform even the rock into a fountain and pool.

Let's pray Psalm 114 and then Our Father, Amen

When Israel came out of Egypt, and the house of Jacob from a barbarous people, Judah became her sanctuary, and Israel her dominion.

The sea saw this and fled; the Jordan retreated. The mountains leapt like rams, the hills like lambs.

What have you, O sea, to flee? And you, Jordan, to go back? And you mountains, to leap like rams, and you hills, like lambs?

Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool and the stone into

"O God, I thank You for Your protection. I know that You are with me and will protect me from all evil. I trust in You and I know that You will bless me and keep me. I praise You, O God, for Your infinite mercy and love. Amen."
