I'm not afraid to admit that I avoid shooting in less than (what I percieve )
to be ideal conditions ie , sunrise & sunset , golden & blue hour . Outside of those hours I get twitchy !
BUT
As a ( mainly ) seascape photographer I'm governed by tide times & sometimes they just don't pan out which makes life a little difficult ( unless I can travel for hours ) when you only have 1 day out with the camera every other week or so .

So I put my big girl pants on ( aka bridget jones's ) & headed off to one of my favorite locations - yes , I've done this place to death but an original image was not the plan for today . I just wanted to test myself & see what I could make on a typically murky midday .

I surprised myself !

No award winning images here BUT there's one I'm really happy with & that makes it a WIN in my book ..
