The National League's Time To Shine Has Come...which of these eight storied franchises will rise to the top?

Following a torrid last month of the season where the Baseball Gods smiled upon the Cincinnati Reds, the Queen City roared into the playoffs despite selling hard at the deadline. They even managed to fend off the pesky Florida Marlins en route to a 163rd win and a chance to dance with the best players in baseball. Led by Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips and a series of young but talented rookies, the Reds hope their October of Magic can lead them to the promised land, so long as their pitching can hold together...

The Club was determined to make it back in this year as well, but found the road much harder, despite Atlanta falling apart early and the Mets struggles. The club bought heavily at the deadline, landing Astros ace Roy Oswalt, A's Starter Joe Blanton and adding a platoon in Right Field with Austin Kearns and Aubrey Huff to lengthen an already loaded lineup. A mid September swoon for the offense almost allowed the Mets to catch them, but the Phillies pitching stepped up, giving them a chance to hold up a Division Crown and hopefully...a World Series title to go with it...
