The rights and liabilities of mortgagor have been discussed under section 60 to 66 of Tranfer of property act. the rights of mortgagor includes

1.right to redeem
2.right to inspection of documents
3.right to recover of possession
4.right to accession and improvement
5.right over renewed lease
6.power to lease

apart from above said rights the mortgagor also have the following liability

1. liability to ensure ownership
2. liability to pay public charges
3. liability to pay rent
4. liability to pay prior encumbrance
5. liability to not to involve in any act deteriorating the mortgage property.
