Hello! Here's my second attempt of building a center channel speaker for home theater and desktop multimedia sound applications. This will be the needed center component to the previous front and surround speakers I made just a couple of months ago.

In this project, I used a 6dB / octave (2nd order) 2 ways crossover which I DIY'ed a few years ago. To complement and balance the output of the front left and right channels, I decided to wire the woofers in series so to get past 10 Ohms impedance as well the tweeters. Crossover point is around 1,400Hz, which is exactly the range of mid frequencies.

As the usual, I used the very trusty Dayton Audio DATS v3 in measuring and testing every parameters of the speakers as well the crossovers.

Center speakers can also be your all-around multimedia entertainment by attaching a Bluetooth and amplifier modules. The possibilities are endless since center speakers can be reconfigured and modified into stereo mode.
