This reversing mechanism incorporates my 3D printed linear snap action mechanism (   • A 100% 3D Printed Linear Snap Action ...  ) to provide mechanical hysteresis.

In this mechanism, the large green face gear reverses rotational direction every 360 degrees. With an additional face gear arm, the angle of rotation can be further limited.

The mechanism uses an N20 50RPM gear motor powered at 6VDC drawing an average of 7MA with peaks to 20MA.

Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Ultimaker Cura 4.6.0, and 3D printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 3 Extended and an Ultimaker S5.
