Control Freak tells the story of an outcast teenage boy, Jacob, with severe anxiety who finds himself imagining a negative outcome that might occur if he decides to ask his crush to prom. The film focuses on ‘glitches’ in his created mental reality in which copies of his peers reside. The surroundings and circumstances of these imagined characters are determined by the things Jacob sees in his therapist's office.
