A short video explaining how I simulate bullet impacts, in this case, on the groud for movie special effects.

You can also use a strong firecracker as the explosive charge.

First test: 4 squibs, 0.250g of a high, primary, smokeless powder
Second test: 1 squib, 1g of the same explosive
Ignition: homemade e-matches set off by homemade firing system.

An example of a high, primary, smokeless explosive is TATP. Here s a link to a video series, that doesn't belong to me, explaining how to make some.    • Video
