The melody of this "Ave Maria" was composed by Franz Peter #Schubert in 1826 (Ave Maria D. 839). The #Prayer in this video is in an authentic Middle Eastern Aramaic as spoken by Jesus Christ and his mother the #Virgin Mary (Mariam). It is still in use in some areas of Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. Eastern Churches use it for prayers and Liturgical Hymns. Let's pray for Peace and Humanity!! The lyrics in here are displayed in two scripts : the top script is the Aramaic Estrangelo Script (used also in Syriac and Chaldean). and the bottom one is in the Aramaic Ashuri Script (which is the same as the Hebrew square printed letters).
