On Sunday August 11, 2024, The Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys ran a charter using SEPTA Kawasaki #9000 from the Callowhill Depot in Philadelphia, PA. #9000 was repainted into its' original SEPTA livery colors. The charter traveled on Route 15 (Girard Avenue) offering ,ultiple opportunities to photograph #9000 along with the newly rebuilt PCC's on that line. SEPTA calls these PCC-III's since this is their third reincarnation. We also had an old "fishbowl" bus thrown into the mix. The video footage was shot from the rear window of Kawasaki #9000 using a suction cup holding device. Video was shot in time-lapse and has been mixed with still photographs and music to produce this video.
