Councillor Schwier, Essex County Council’s Climate Czar for Environment, Waste Reduction and Recycling and Councillor Scott, Essex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Planning a Growing Economy visited Wilkin & Sons in Tiptree, the world-famous jam maker, to learn more about the organisation’s sustainability practices to produce jams and preserves.

They also speak about the important role of the Climate Focus Area which has been created to pilot best practice in sustainable land management and accelerate climate action.
