Rear brake job on LX470 / 100 series Land Cruiser

This is one of the easier maintenance items for the 100 series. In this video I'll show you a step-by-step tutorial on how to replace the rear brakes, rotors, and other wear items on your 1998-2007 Lexus LX470 or Toyota Land Cruiser (100 series). Total cost of parts (all OEM) ~$344.00

47715-60010 (top slide pin) x 2
47715-60020 (bottom slide pin w/ rubber sleeve) x 2
47775-30040 (boot, slide pin) x 4
08887-01206 (slide pin grease, rubber-safe) x1
04946-60031 (anti-aqueal shim kit, rear) x1

note: brake pad kit and anti-squeal shim kit each come with 4 units, which covers entire rear

Torque Specs:

14mm bolts on caliper: 20 ftlbs
17mm bolts on caliper bracket: 76 ftlbs
22 mm wheel lugnuts: 97 ftlbs

8mm socket
14mm socket
17mm deep socket
22mm socket (for wheel lugnuts)
