Shiba Inus are so independent that without the bond they have with their human, it’d be very challenging to sustain a relationship with them.

I remember when getting Aoki, the first few months were tough. I did not feel close to him and I felt like he did not really loved me. He would be happy that I feed him and play frisbee with him but there was this disconnect.

I tried implementing a few things that helped throughout the years, and this is what I am sharing with you based on my experience.
