The Diocese of Orange community celebrated the second annual Marian Days at Christ Cathedral on July 14 and 15, 2023. The event drew an estimated 25,000 people over both days for a festival-like environment of Masses, Adoration, prayer, guest speakers, processions, food, dancers and entertainment.

The theme was "With Mary, We Journey."

A highlight of Marian Days — which was modeled after a celebration that has taken place in Missouri since 1978 — was thousands of people in a procession on the streets around the cathedral campus. The closing Mass followed, which had more than 12,000 of the faithful celebrating in front of the Our Lady of La Vang Shrine.

Next year's celebration is scheduled for July 12 and 13, 2024, with the theme of "Mary, Ark of the Covenant."
